Al-Aqsa University's Public Relations Department is the first specialized department for public relations among Palestinian universities in Gaza Strip. In the area of public relations, the department offers a prestigious academic program. Additionally, the progressively global advances in the field of public relations are reflected in this integrated academic program.
The department aims to further knowledge, research, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the field of public relations within the context of our social responsibility. It also aims to strengthen a sense of belonging to country , admiration of Al-Aqsa University, and social responsibility, taking into account Arab values, Islamic culture, and the privacy of Palestinian society. It qualifies male and female students to work in public relations departments in Various institutions and organizations: governmental, public and private.
The department also seeks to constantly update the academic program to keep pace with global developments in the knowledge fields of public relations and advertising. The program focuses on contemporary issues in the field of building the mental image and managing the reputation of various organizations.
The department offers the student a scientific environment where he can acquire the technical and communication skills necessary to compete with his colleagues on the labor market. The department seeks , through its academic programs, to provide the student with the basic knowledge and skills of the Public Relations specialization, prepare graduates for management and administration of public relations departments in governmental and non-governmental organizations and qualify them on the basis of dealing with various media.

The department seeks to develop new specializations in the field of media marketing and advertising in response to the labor market's need for graduates with the ability to manage and design advertising campaigns in light of the remarkable development in the West Bank and Gaza Strip's advertising market as well as the development in the field of non-governmental organizations.
